Rebecca (UAE) – BUBR Ghana 2023

“The BUBR trip to Ghana was a once in a lifetime experience. I not only made friends for life, but I also learned so much about Ghana and the history of Africa. The local teams accompanying us kept us safe and the charities we raised money for continue to feedback about how our contributions make a difference. I look forward to my next trip with BUBR!”

Mona (London) – BUBR Rwanda 2024

“A culmination of sweaty but sweet ups and downs (Land of a Thousand Hills).
The highlight of the trip was the camaraderie we experienced whilst cycling the most grueling hills. There was something about knowing no man or woman would be left behind, we were all in this together, yet everybody came with their own goals, dreams and aspirations which were faced on those hills with breathtaking scenery which provided a nourishing balm for the soul."

Dionne (Dubai) - BUBR Rwanda 2024

“BUBR is a wonderful community of positive people with exceptional leadership and organisational skills, we’ve been able to come together as a family to see the beauty Africa has to offer whilst making a difference not just to the less fortunate, but ourselves individually. I’m fitter, mentally stronger & have gained at least 30 more friends. It’s so much more than cycling, BUBR you’re life changing!”

Donna (London) – BUBR Rwanda 2024

“BUBR Africa was a joyous, emotional, challenging, enriching trip of a lifetime. Beautiful cycling routes and a well-planned itinerary which ensured we saw the best of Rwanda. I think about it every day. It was so much more than a cycling trip”

Shilpen (London) – BUBR Rwanda 2024

“I signed up to BUBR Rwanda with a sense of adventure and without much idea of what to expect. I love what the organisation stands for and wanted to show solidarity. It was one of the most thrilling and satisfying experiences of my life. Beautiful country, fantastic support and a group of new friends who pulled through the tough cycling challenges (and those endless hills!) together as a team. I can’t recommend it enough and am already looking forward to the next one.”

Justin (London) - BUBR Rwanda 2024

"Participating in the Black Unity Bike Ride was my first time in Africa and my first charity work experience. As a novice cyclist, I rode over 400km through Rwanda's hills in a nine-day tour. The ride was about unity, challenge, giving back, and embracing Rwanda's heritage. BUBR promotes wellness and empowerment, and this transformative journey left me eager to join future BUBR events, blending physical challenge with cultural exploration and community building."

Soraya (Amsterdam) – BUBR Rwanda 2024

Keji (London) – BUBR Rwanda 2024

BUBR combine a vision of cycle tours on the African continent, whilst partnering with and fundraising for local cycling communities  to make an impactful difference. I’ve been so blessed to have met some truly wonderful and inspiring Rwandans and others from the international BUBR community, whilst taking on the challenge of riding some of the 1000 hills of Rwanda This I was told was BUBR chapter 2. I cannot wait for BUBR chapter 3!
