Two editions in, and Manchester already feels like it's been here longer than that.

The second city, the spin-off, the sibling - Manchester wasn't born from a single spontaneous moment like London was, it was a decision. We wanted the BUBR vibes to go nationwide, and Manchester was the obvious next stop. So we planned it properly - routing the ride through Black landmarks across the city, starting and finishing at Alexandra Park in Moss Side, in the heart of Manchester's Black community. It was actually Manchester that taught London a trick or two - the first ride to start and finish in the same place, a loop we've since brought back down south too.

No pressure to keep pace, no finish times, no numbers pinned to your back. Just a route through the city at your own pace, surrounded by people who get why the music's loud and the pace is slow.

If you've got a bike and a bit of curiosity, that's the entry requirement. First-timers ride alongside people who've done every edition. Marshals are there to support you along the way - just pedal, make some noise, and see Manchester the way we see it.
